What tools and materials does CFP Board provide to human resources professionals?
CFP Board has developed a variety of tools and materials for HR professionals to use in informing employees about planning for their financial future. Financial Planning Resource Kits, fliers, newsletter stories, PowerPoint presentations and other materials are available free of charge up to a certain number. You also can link to CFP Board's Web site from your company Web site or Intranet to provide your employees with additional information about financial planning and a way to search for a CFP® professional in their area. In addition, CFP Board can help coordinate workplace education seminars by enlisting the assistance of volunteer CFP® certificants in your area. Volunteers will not promote themselves, their companies or any products.

How can my organization benefit from providing workplace education about financial planning?
Two of the biggest barriers people face in successfully managing their personal finances are lack of knowledge and denial of the need to plan. You can help your employees overcome these obstacles by providing them with the facts about financial planning and what they need to do to take control of their personal finances. CFP Board has found that employees welcome information about personal financial planning. The best news is that providing this education in the workplace has a positive impact on an employee's well-being and productivity, which creates a win-win situation for both employees and employers.
