March 2014 - Registered Program Newsletter

March 2014

Dear Colleagues,

Greetings. I hope this message finds you well and in the midst of a rewarding term. It already has been a rewarding year, from the launch of some new Registered Programs to our recent academic initiatives announcement which is included in this newsletter. The new process of program self-assessment has helped faculty and administrators find new ways to engage and educate our future CFP® professionals. As we move forward, I urge you and each of your colleagues at your institution to stay in-touch in the coming weeks and months ahead. Share our newsletters and webinars with administrators and encourage colleagues to join our mailing list. I hope you plan to join us for the Registered Program Conference here in Washington, DC in August. The new Firms’ Night at the conference will be an exciting way for registered programs and firms to partner as they prepare and ultimately hire new, current, and prospective CFP® professionals. Most importantly, CFP Board is grateful for each of our education partnerships and our rewarding collaboration with faculty, program directors, and college/university administrators as we work to prepare future CFP® professionals.

Very Truly Yours,

Charles R. Chaffin, Ed.D.
