Happy New Year! I hope this message finds each of you well and in the midst or the start of a rewarding term. There are a number of exciting new initiatives that we are embarking on in 2015, from the CFP Board Career Center, the 2015 Job Task Analysis, new renewal registration requirements, and a variety of different opportunities for data-sharing between CFP Board and our valued education partners. We will announce specifics regarding many of these initiatives during our January 2015 webinar. It is important that you and your colleagues plan to attend. I urge you to stay in-touch in the coming weeks and months ahead. Share our newsletter and webinars with faculty colleagues, and examine all of the resources that are available to you, your program and students at www.CFP.net/RegisteredPrograms. If you have questions or want to talk about your program, please do not hesitate to email us at RegisteredPrograms@CFPBoard.org to schedule a call. CFP Board is grateful for each of our education partnerships and, perhaps just as important, our collaboration with faculty and program directors as we work together in reaching our shared objectives. Best wishes for a happy, healthy and rewarding 2015.
Very Truly Yours, Charles R. Chaffin, Ed.D.

Building Capacity for the Future
Plan now to join us at the 2015 CFP Board Registered Program Conference on August 6-7, 2015, in Washington, DC. This year's theme, Building Capacity for the Future, will be a platform for furthering our discipline relative to specific subject matter areas, engaging students both within the classroom and in online learning platforms, as well as facilitating certificate and degree-seeking students' journeys toward CFP® certification.
Subject matter experts and researchers are encouraged to submit proposals that focus on furthering the discipline and enriching current practice. The conference will again feature a research poster session for graduate students (both master's and doctoral) to share their unpublished research and studies. Proposals for conference presentations and research posters are being accepted through March 1, 2015.
