Toolkit for CFP® Professionals

As a CFP® professional, you are uniquely qualified to help individuals pull their finances together, solve financial problems, and make a plan to achieve their financial goals. You also have the opportunity to take advantage of resources to help raise awareness about CFP® certification and the benefits of working with a CFP® professional.

The CFP® certification marks are distinctive visual symbols that indicate you have met CFP Board’s certification requirements.

Increasing public awareness is central to CFP Board’s mission to benefit the public by granting the CFP® certification.

CFP® professionals can use materials from CFP Board to announce their achievement and qualifications as a CFP® professional.

CFP® professionals must report 30 hours of CE for each two-year period ending the last day of a certificant's renewal month.

Keep informed about CFP Board’s work to uphold the CFP® certification.

CFP Board has developed resources to help CFP® professionals uphold the Standards of Professional Conduct.
