CFP® Certification Examination

  • Dates: July 18 - 19, 2014
The July 2014 CFP® Certification Examination will be administered July 18-19 at more than 50 exam sites across the country. The registration deadline for the July 2014 exam is June 10, 2014.

The CFP® Certification Examination is designed to assess your ability to apply financial planning knowledge to real-life financial planning situations. By passing this exam, you demonstrate to the public that you are at the appropriate level of competency required to practice financial planning. You can apply for the CFP® Certification Examination after you have successfully completed an acceptable course of study (or its equivalent), including a capstone course registered with CFP Board.

Exam registrants will be emailed an admission ticket with the exact time and location of the exam approximately two to three weeks before the exam date. In general, you must report to the testing facility by 12:30 p.m. on Friday and 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.
