Please familiarize yourself with the Examinee Agreement below. Examinees are required to sign this agreement before the start of each exam session, and in doing so commit to behaving ethically before, during and after the exam.
By signing your name, you are certifying that you are the candidate whose signature appears on the cover of this test booklet and that your sole reason for testing is to earn the CFP® certification. You further acknowledge that you understand that the contents of this test booklet are the property of CFP Board and its contents are copyrighted under the laws of the United States. Copying, reproducing or distributing the contents of this examination in any form is unlawful. Removal of this book from the examination room by unauthorized persons is prohibited. At the conclusion of the examination, you are responsible for returning the numbered test booklet that has been assigned to you.
Revealing questions may result in disciplinary action including, but not limited to, monetary restitution, being barred from retaking the exam or prosecution under copyright law. If any individual or entity, including a review course provider or academic program, asks you to reveal any contents of the examination - please report the incident immediately.
Please report any unethical or suspicious behavior that you may observe directly to the Examinations Department at toll free 855-EXAMTIP (855-392-6847) or firstname.lastname@example.org. Both these channels are strictly confidential.
You are expected to conduct yourself in an ethical manner before, during and after the CFP® Certification Examination. Actions such as, but not limited to, using any prohibited aids in connection with the exam, including violations of the Calculator Policy, attempting to give or receive assistance, or otherwise communicate in any form with another person or entity about the exam during the exam administration, or not following the proctor's or supervisor's instructions or directions, will result in investigation by an independent entity and/or CFP Board. In some cases, CFP Board will take disciplinary action if appropriate. If CFP Board has reason to believe that you are involved in examination misconduct or any other testing irregularity that could compromise the integrity of the exam, your exam may not be scored, the exam fee may be forfeited and you may be barred from taking the CFP® Certification Examination.
Failure to abide by these rules can and will result in the cancellation of your exam score and/or pursuit of any other legal remedies available to CFP Board.
